Vakhrusheve (Ukrainian: Вахрушеве, Russian: Вахрушево), is a city in Krasnyi Luch Municipality, Luhansk Oblast (region) of Ukraine. Population: 11,457 (2021 est.)[1], 11,878 (2013 est.)[2].
Since 2014, Vakhrusheve has been controlled by the Luhansk People's Republic and not by Ukrainian authorities.[3] In 2016, it was renamed by the Verkhovna Rada to Bokovo-Khrustalne (Ukrainian: Боково-Хрустальне) according to the law prohibiting the names of Communist origin.[4] The name is not being used locally.
