Valodya Frangulyan (Armenian: Վալոդյա Ռազմիկի Ֆրանգուլյան; born 20 October 1992, Yerevan, Armenia)[1] is an Armenian freestyle wrestler and mixed martial artist who competes in the flyweight division. European champion in 2015[2] and bronze medalist in 2017[3] the 61 kg weight classes.

Biography[]

Frangulyan was born on October 20, 1992, in Yerevan.

Has been involved in sports for over 20 years.

He has the title of Master of Sports of Armenia, and is also an international master of sports.

Since 2021, Volodya Frangulyan switched to MMA.[4][5]

Wrestling career[]

Frangulyan was the European champion U23 athlete in 2015.[6]

Frangulyan was junior World and European bronze medalist in 2012.

Frangulyan was bronze medalist of the European Championship among adults 2017.[7]

Multiple champion of Armenia.[8][9][10]

Multiple champion and prize winner at international tournaments.
