Vanni Sartini is an Italian football coach. He is the head coach of Major League Soccer club Vancouver Whitecaps FC.

Coaching career[]

Vancouver Whitecaps FC[]

Sartini joined the Vancouver Whitecaps FC organization on January 1, 2019, as assistant coach to Marc Dos Santos.

On September 8, 2020, Sartini was appointed as Vancouver Whitecaps FC U-23 head coach and Whitecaps FC Academy director of methodology.[1]

On August 27, 2021, Sartini took over as interim coach of the Whitecaps' Major League Soccer team after the sacking of Marc Dos Santos.[2] On August 29, Sartini took charge for the first time as Whitecaps head coach in their match against Real Salt Lake, which ended in a 4–1 victory at BC Place.[2]

On November 30, 2021, Whitecaps announced Sartini signed a contract through the 2023 season to be the clubs new head coach.[3]
