Varaz Grigor was the first known Mihranid king of Caucasian Albania from 628 until his death in 638, he was Prince of Gardman before his baptism. He was acknowledged as king of Caucasian Albania by Heraclius during his invasion of Caucasus. He was converted to Christianity from Zoroastrianism by . He was succeeded by his second son Javanshir.
