Vaseux-Bighorn National Wildlife Area is a National Wildlife Area in British Columbia, Canada, primarily set aside to protect winter rangeland for California Bighorn Sheep.[2]

Geography[]

Situated 25 kilometres (km) south of Penticton, B.C., between Oliver and Okanagan Falls, Vaseux–Bighorn includes the following six distinct management units:[3]

  • Irrigation Creek Unit
  • Southeast Uplands Unit
  • Northeast Uplands Unit
  • Westside Unit
  • North Wetlands Unit
