Club career[]

Early career[]

Having already scored 34 goals at amateur level with the Pontians of Veria at 15, Vassilis Fasidis aroused the interest of several clubs, even other European ones. Xanthi won the race to sign him, and he made his debut in the Super League in the 2015-16 season with the «Akrites» and was then loaned out to Aeginiakos. In the summer of 2020 he went to AO Trikala on loan from PAOK, which had already acquired him. He has made 75 appearances, scored seven goals and contributed four assists across the Super League, Football League, Greek Cup and Super League Under-19 division. He was also an international through all of the age groups. He is a winger, with good technique and speed, who plays mainly on the right side, but he can also easily play on the left side.
