Veena Goel Crownholm (born September 23, 1981) is an American writer, motivational speaker, internet personality, blogger, actress, and beauty pageant titleholder from Laguna Hills, California. She was crowned Miss California 2004,[1][2] placed 4th runner-up and won a preliminary talent award at Miss America 2005.[3]

In 2002, Goel graduated from UCLA with a bachelor's degree in Sociology. Since then she has worked extensively in the non-profit industry specializing in special event fundraising and program development. She has also worked for the prestigious Thomas J Long Family Foundation as a Program Officer. In recent years, Veena has traveled the country as a motivational speaker on multi-cultural issues, women empowerment and wellness for women and kids as well as contributing to lifestyle media outlets regularly like KTLA, The Doctors and TV. She has also contributed to Inside, Edition, The Insider, , Today’s Parenting Team as well as HLN, Raising America and Huffington Post Live as well as being featured in the Los Angeles Times, Orange County Register, Diablo Magazine and India Life and Style. Her written work can be seen on Randi Zuckerberg’s , CNN, and Kids in the House. Veena now also freelances at as a red carpet host on many an A-list red carpet for events and movie premieres.

In late 2010, Veena gave birth to her son and has become immersed in the world of all things motherhood. She recently moved to Los Angeles from Bay Area of San Francisco with her husband, son and 2 Rescue puppies. She enjoys farmers market, hiking, traveling, pilates, dancing, DIYing, thrift store hunting and cooking. Most weekends you can find Veena and her family exploring Griffith Park, on the Malibu beaches or playing a resident tourist in LA.

Veena and her family were recently featured on the premiere real estate company, Redfin’s new national TV commercial. You can also find her on the red carpet interviewing A-List celebrities such as John Travolta, Ashley Tisdale, Will Arnett and many more as well as covering the latest mommy/parenting, fashion and lifestyle events on her social channels. She doubles as both a red carpet host as well as a blogger. She is also a member of Fashion Mamas LA, Hey Mama LA and did a weekly Facebook Live show with Erin Ziering. Erin and Veena are co-founders of The Millennial Mamas. Veena also travels the country as a speaker and moderator on women's empowerment.

Veena recently traveled to Nicaragua, Mexico City, Iceland with Dramamine, Princess Cruises for an Alaska Land and Sea tour, Eleuthera Island in the Bahamas and Colombia.

Veena has worked with brands like Calia by Carrie Underwood, Sam’s Club, The Incredible Egg, Hum Kombucha, Renew Life Probiotics, Sweaty Betty, Soap and Glory for Tough Mudder, Cinepolis, Sony Pictures, Warner Brothers, Disney, Disneyland and more.
