Velsen-Zuid is a town in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Velsen, and lies about 9 km north of Haarlem.

The village Velsen-Zuid has a population of around 930.[1] The statistical area "Velsen-Zuid", which also can include the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 1790.[1]
