Vieugué Island

Vieugue Island (

65°40′S 65°13′W / 65.667°S 65.217°W / -65.667; -65.217Coordinates: 65°40′S 65°13′W / 65.667°S 65.217°W / -65.667; -65.217) is an island 3 nautical miles (6 km) long at the west side of Grandidier Channel, lying 1 nautical mile (1.9 km) northwest of Duchaylard Island and 12 nautical miles (22 km) west-northwest of Cape Garcia, off the west coast of Graham Land. Discovered by the French Antarctic Expedition, 1903–05, and named by Charcot after , then d'Affaires at Buenos Aires.
