Vincent Austin Blake "Bug" Rivera (born December 23, 1993) is an American football quality control coach for the Washington Football Team of the National Football League (NFL). Before becoming a coach, Rivera was a college football running back/wide receiver at the University of California, Berkeley and San Diego University. He is the nephew of fellow Cal Bear and current Washington Football Team head coach Ron Rivera.^[1]

College career[]

Rivera spent two seasons at the University of San Diego,^[2] before transferring to Cal for the 2015 and 2016 seasons, finishing his career in Berkeley with 44 catches for 487 yards and four touchdowns.^[3]

He graduated with a degree in film and media studies.^[4]

Coaching career[]

Rivera spent two seasons with the Carolina Panthers as defensive quality control coach before joining his uncle's staff in Washington for the 2020 season.^[5]
