Viorel Simion (born 19 October 1981) is a Romanian professional boxer. As an amateur, he represented Romania at the 2004 Summer Olympics and won a bronze medal at the 2005 World Championships.

Amateur career[]

As an amateur, Simion won two bronze medals, at the 2005 World Championships in Mianyang, China and at the 2002 European Championships in Perm, Russia. He also represented Romania at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece also as a featherweight.
