The Visayan babbler (Sterrhoptilus nigrocapitatus), formerly conspecific with the Calabarzon babbler, is a species of bird in the family Zosteropidae. It is endemic to the Philippines. It found on Samar, Leyte and Bohol.

Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest.
