Viva Services is a provider of online services in Greece.
It is an online travel agency, a KO telecommunications provider licensed by the Hellenic Telecommunications and Post Commission and a registered insurance agent.[2] The company is a subsidiary of Viva Wallet.
History[]
Founded in 2006 it provided inexpensive VoIP (Voice over IP) telephony. At the same time it created Viva Numbers which are Greek telephone numbers for use in conjunction with its VoIP network that could be used as an IVR, FAX or voicemail. In 2010 it expanded into the online travel sector providing online flight booking, ferry tickets, hotels and car rentals. It was the first company in Greece to provide online tickets for buses and trains.
In 2011 it opens its first shop in one of the biggest malls in Athens, The Mall Athens, and expands into ticketing for shows such as theater, concerts and sporting events. In 2012 it launches an online mobile topup service for prepaid phones. In 2013 it starts offering online car insurance services through an online comparison engine comparing the largest insurance companies in Greece.[3]
