The Volta Regional Museum is a museum in Ho, Ghana. Established in 1973, it focuses on ethnographic history.[1][2]
Before it was used as a museum, the building served as the Office of the Regional House of Chiefs. The building was sold to the government in 1967 and the museum was opened in 1973.
Exhibits on display at the museum include local paintings, the Chair of State of the last German colonial governor, woodcraft and pottery, Volta Region Kente designs, masks, chiefs’ stools, swords, and displays on Asante fetish shrines.[3]
