WIII (branded as I-100) is a radio station serving the vicinity of Ithaca and Cortland, New York, with a classic rock format. This station broadcasts at 99.9 MHz in Cortland and 100.3 MHz (via translator W262AD) in Ithaca. It is owned by Cayuga Radio Group subsidiary of Saga Communications.

History[]

Prior to Saga's ownership, WIII was owned by Citadel Communications as part of an AM/FM combo with then-WKRT 920 AM (now WYBY) until 2007, when Citadel left the market. Because of market ownership caps, Saga donated WYBY to Bible Broadcasting Network.

I-100 is currently formatted as a classic rock station, primarily using the Dial-Global Classic Rock service. The WIII call letters have been in place since November 1994 - prior to that it was WYYS, WNYP-FM and WOKW.

WIII joined the New York Giants Radio Network in 2012.
