WLEW is a radio station in Bad Axe, Michigan, serving the Thumb area of Michigan. It is owned by and broadcasts from studios on South Van Dyke Road in Bad Axe. Unusual for small-town radio stations, WLEW is locally programmed and does not rely on satellite feeds for any of their music programming.[citation needed] The station features a local roster of disc jockeys and news from CNN Radio.

The radio station is known for the “hottest country” in the thumb. The radio station is little brother of 102.1 THE CRUISE.

WLEW broadcasts at 1340 kHz AM and airs a country format. The 1,000-watt station goes by the nickname "The Thumb's Hottest Country."
