WZRU (90.1 FM) is a radio station broadcasting a Christian music format. Licensed to Garysburg, North Carolina, United States, it serves the Roanoke Rapids, Rocky Mount, and Emporia, VA areas. The station is currently owned by Pathway Christian Academy, Inc. Shows also featured have included "Focus on the Family" and "Paul Harvey News and Comment".

History[]

WZRU was once located at 88.5 FM. On May 2, 2005, WZRU swapped frequencies with WRTP-FM, giving WZRU a stronger signal.[1]
