Walter Bosshard (born 17 January 1921) was a Swiss footballer who played as striker.

Bosshard joined Basel's first team in their 1946–47 season. He played his domestic league debut for the club in the away game on 28 June 1947 as Basel were beaten 3–1 by Grenchen.[1] Between the years 1946 and 1948 Bossard played a total of three games for Basel without scoring a goal. One of these games were in the Nationalliga A and two were friendly games.[2]

Following his time in Basel, Bossard joined Vevey-Sports who played in the second tier of Swiss football at that time.
