Wendy Wheeler (9 February 1949 – 25 June 2020) was a British literary scholar and semiotician.^[1][2][3]

She received DrPhil from the University of Sussex and worked as a Professor in London Metropolitan University.

Her major contributions include books (and articles^[4]) on biosemiotics and culture:
