Wernya hamigigantea is a moth in the family Drepanidae. It was described by Da-Yong Xue and Hong-Xiang Han in 2012.[1][failed verification] It is found in Hainan, China.[2]

Adults can be distinguished from related species by the much paler wing colour, and the oblique antemedial lines, with the area between them reddish brown.

Etymology[]

The species name refers to the large hooked carina of the aedeagus and is derived from the Latin prefix ham- and giganteus.[3]
