Wild-Eyed Southern Boys is the fourth studio album by the southern rock band 38 Special, released in January 1981.[2]

Three of the four songs written or co-written by Jeff Smith for the album charted as singles, the title track, "Fantasy Girl" and "Hold On Loosely". Being from Fort Payne Alabama and unbeknown to most Smith was underage during that time and kept out of the public's eye. He was not able to receive credit for his work on the album due to underage copyright laws. Smith's work was done in the studio only and not on stage.
