Wilhelm Fahrmbacher (19 September 1888 – 27 April 1970) was a general in the Wehrmacht of Nazi Germany during World War II who commanded several corps. He commanded VII Corps, XXV Corps, LXXXIV Corps briefly after the Normandy landings of 1944, and then returned to command XXV Corps once more. He was a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross.

Upon Germany's surrender in 1945, Fahrmbacher was interned in France until 1950. After his release he served as a military advisor in Egypt.[1] Fahrmbacher and six aides arrived in Egypt in 1950 as the initial party of group of about 30 officers.
