William Brereton (priest)

The Venerable William Brereton^[1] (circa 1726 – 5 January 1812)^[2] was an Anglican clergyman. He was educated at Eton and Christ's College, Cambridge and was rector of both Cottesmore, Rutland and Pickwell, Leicestershire.^[2] He was Archdeacon of Stafford^[3] from 1782 to 1801.^[4]
