The 80th Assembly District of Wisconsin is one of 99 districts in the Wisconsin State Assembly.[3] Located in south-central Wisconsin, the district comprises southwest Dane County, the northern half of Green County, and part of eastern Iowa County. It includes the city of Verona and the southern half of the city of Fitchburg, as well as the villages of Barneveld, Belleville, Blue Mounds, Monticello, Mount Horeb, and New Glarus. It also contains Blue Mound State Park.[4] The district is represented by Democrat Sondy Pope, since January 2013. Before the 2011 redistricting, Pope represented the 79th Assembly district from 2003 to 2013.[5]

The 80th Assembly District is located within Wisconsin's 27th Senate district, along with the 79th and 81st Assembly districts.
