Woh To Hai Albelaa (transl. He Is Very Unique) is an Indian Hindi-language television drama series that premiered on 14 March 2022.[1] It is broadcast on Star Bharat and it digitally streams on Disney+ Hotstar. Produced by Rajan Shahi under Director Kut's Productions, it stars Shaheer Sheikh and Hiba Nawab.[2] It is an official adaptation of Star Vijay's Tamil series Eeramana Rojave.[3]
Plot[]
Balwant Sharma and Dhanraj Choudhary are neighbours and good friends like their wives Indrani and Saroj. However, due to a fight between their children Krishna (Kanha) and Sayuri. Due to that fight the two families become enemies. Kanha and Sayuri hate each other very much.Saroj thinks wrong that Balwant used Dhanraj only for his business. Balwant denies so but still asks what Saroj wants. She demands half of his business. As this wasn't possible, Indrani and Saroj get into a confrontation. Indrani slaps and kicks her out for insulting them. Balwant dies due to his deteriorating health.
18 years later[]
Saroj is not able to forget her past feud because she always scratches her wounds, Kusum also supports her. Other members of the Choudhary family have a ray of hope for the reunion of both families. Sharma's suffered a lot due to this enmity, they think that if they wouldn't have fought that day everything would have been much better. Sayuri has not healed from the past, she is not able to forgive Kanha as their life's problems and a rift between both families is because of Kanha, she hates him. Kanha also hates Sayuri and teases her. Choudhary's eldest son, Chiranjeev, and Sharma's eldest daughter, Sayuri, love each other despite the rivalry between their families. They eventually convince their families for their wedding. On the day of their marriage, Chiranjeev dies in an accident. Saroj blames Sayuri for Chiranjeev's death and insults her by seeing her as a bad omen who took life of Chiranjeev by claiming to be in love with him. Kanha recalls promising Chiru to take care of Sayuri and decides to take care of Sayuri from hereon. Sayuri blames Kanha for Chiranjeev's death. A turn of fate forces Sayuri to marry Kanha. The story then revolves around Kanha and Sayuri's married life. Sayuri starts admiring Kanha because of his caring nature. Kanha's love interest, Anjali starts troubling him as she is not able to control her feelings for him. Sayuri and Kanha become friends after clearing their misunderstandings. Later, both of them fall in love with each other. But due to a misunderstanding Sayuri goes back to her home. After some days she realises Kanha's love for her after his proposal and they reunite as Krisa.

Critical reception[]
Woh Toh Hai Albelaa generally received mixed to positive reviews from critics. Srividya Rajesh gave the show 3.5 out of 5 stars. She stated "Woh Toh Hai Albelaa is impressive in its characterizations and interpersonal equations. The only dampener here is the predictability factor that comes with the story."[5]

Woh Toh Hai Albelaa is an official adaptation of the Tamil series Eeramana Rojave. The show has previously been remade Telugu and Kannada languages.[6]

Woh Toh Hai Albelaa soundtrack is composed by Nakash Aziz and Sargam Jassu. The first song "Woh Toh Hai Albelaa" is inspired from 1994 film Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa's song of the same name. It is the theme song of Kanha. The second song "Ho Rabba" is the theme song of Kanha and Sayuri.
