Wrigley Park

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Wrigley Park, also called Fourth Ward, is a neighborhood around a namesake park located north of Broadway in Paterson, New Jersey.[1] It was named for a Paterson paper manufacturing family.[2][3]

The neighborhood has experienced years of poverty, crime, and neglect.[4] However, there are new houses being built and crime has dropped in recent years.[citation needed] The city has planned to address the empties lot in this section of the city through fines and eventually taking them over to sell to developers.[5] Habitat for Humanity has built numerous homes in the district.[6]

The proposed Passaic–Bergen–Hudson Transit Project light rail would potentially include a staion at Lafayette Street.[7]
