"X Moves" is a song by American hip hop recording artist DMX, which features instrumentals from Bootsy Collins, Steve Howe and Ian Paice.[1] It was released on YouTube on 8 April 2021,[2] through Cleopatra Records. The song was made available for sale on 9 April; DMX died later that day.[3] It preceded the release of, but is not included on, DMX's posthumous album Exodus.[4]

Composition[]

"X Moves" features DMX's "profanity-packed" rapping over guitar riffs, Ian Paice's drumming, and Bootsy Collins' "funky bass grooves".[5]
