Xie Feng (Chinese: 谢锋, born in April 1964) is currently Vice Foreign Minister in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China,[1] specifically for managing China's relationship with the United States of America.[2] Previously he was the commissioner of the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Xie is a graduate of the China Foreign Affairs University. He previously served as the Director-General of the , for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), as well as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Indonesia.[3]

Xie Feng greets U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry upon his arrival in Beijing, on 13 April 2013. Xie was acting as China's Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for North America at the time.
