Yongsoo Park is the author of the novels, Boy Genius (ISBN 1888451246),[1][2][3][4][5]and Las Cucarachas (ISBN 1888451564),[6] the essay collection The Art of Eating Bitter : A Hausfrau Dad's Journey With Kids. (ISBN 1720767505) and the memoir Rated R Boy : Growing Up Korean in 1980s Queens (ISBN 1654216747).[7] He is a Korean American urban surrealist. His books Boy Genius, Las Cucarachas, and Rated R Boy are all set loosely in Elmhurst, an immigrant enclave in the New York City borough of Queens, and form "The Elmhurst Trilogy."
