Yoshihisa Furukawa
Yoshihisa Furukawa (古川 禎久, Furukawa Yoshihisa, born August 3, 1965) is a Japanese politician of the Liberal Democratic Party, a member of the House of Representatives in the Diet (national legislature). A native of Kushima, Miyazaki and graduate of the University of Tokyo, he joined the Ministry of Construction in 1989. After unsuccessful runs in 1996 and 2000, he was elected to the House of Representatives for the first time in 2003 as an independent.
