"You Won't Forget Me" is a song recorded by German Eurodance group La Bouche. It was released in September 26, 1997 as the second single of their second album, S.O.S. (US version). The single achieved a minor success in comparison with their 1995 hit, "Be My Lover". It peaked at number 18 in Finland, number 24 in Sweden, number 28 in France and number 29 in Germany. The single reached number 70 on the Eurochart Hot 100.
Critical reception[]
Larry Flick from Billboard stated that the song has a "fast-paced beat, bombastic vocals, candy-coated instrumentation, and a la-la-la chorus." He also noted that "several consecutive spins allow the song to eventually-and permanently-stick to the brain."[1]
Music video[]
The music video for "You Won't Forget Me" was shot in autumn of 1997 in New York City, USA directed by Andras Mahr & B. Falls. Video was uploaded to YouTube in August 2015. In April 2021, it has reached more than 4.1 million views.[2]
