Youth of Yangon is a documentary short about the growing community of skateboarders living in Yangon, Myanmar (Burma) and their lack of and need for a skatepark in their city. The film captures the emerging youth culture of Myanmar as it emerges from decades of military oppression.[1] Youth of Yangon is a joint project of Ali Drummond, a UK professional skateboarder and Burmese language student, and James Holman, a professional filmmaker.[1]
