Zarrar (Urdu: زرّار lit: Sharp-minded) is an upcoming Pakistani action thriller film directed and written by Shaan Shahid and stars himself as the main protagonist along with Kiran Malik, Nadeem Baig and Adnan Butt.

Adnan Butt came up with the original concept back in 2015 but Shaan himself refined it into written form.[10] Shaan decided to Create its screenplay and direct it as well under the banner of 5th Dimension Films UK in association with Jehan Films Pakistan.[10]

The synopsis does sound fresh from Pakistani cinema’s perspective as earlier the local filmmakers had focused on Kashmir or Taliban as the center of their story when exploring this genre. Zarrar’s palette, thus, seems expansive and more interesting.[11]

Plot[]

The movie features Shaan Shahid as Zarrar, a former ISI agent returning to service against Pakistan's internal and external enemies.[11]

Shaan has chosen Pinewood Studios UK, for the post production of the film along with his earlier project Arth remake of original Mahesh Bhatt Arth.[13]
