Zhalay Sarhadi, also spelled Zille Sarhadi, (born on June 11, 1981) is a Pakistani television actress, model and former VJ.[1] She has worked in several successful television series. Her notable performance includes in the series, Uraan (2010), Madiha Maliha (2012), Aks (2012), Digest Writer (2014) and Rang Laaga (2015).[2][3][4][5] She received Lux style award nomination for her performance in Chalay Thay Sath.[6]

Personal life[]

Sarhadi is married to Amir Anees and has a daughter Anaya. She is the niece of television actor Khayyam Sarhadi and granddaughter of Zia Sarhadi.[7]

Career[]

Zhalay started as an actress. Later she began modeling, appearing in magazines like Libaas and on the ramps.[8] She hosted a reality show Shaadi Online on Geo TV[9] and acted different serials.[10] She did an Item number titled 'Jawaani' in a Pakistani film Jalaibee in 2015. Zhalay is also featuring in Kashan Admani's debut film as a director, Carma - The Movie.[11] The movie is set to release in 2022.[12] The movie also features Adnan Siddiqui, Naveen Waqar, and Osama Tahir in lead roles.
