Personal life[]

Before Zoya started her YouTube channel in mid-2019, she met fellow YouTubers Shahveer Jafry, a Pakistani Canadian, and Chris Betzmann, a German national. They made videos together on Shahveer's YouTube channel Zoya and got into a romantic relationship with Chris Betzmann. Fans started to rumour on social media that the two are a couple and are soon to be married. Chris and Zoya went to the Bahamas where Chris proposed to Zoya on February 19, 2021. Zoya accepted and was well received by the fans.[8] However, 3 months later, chats were leaked from Instagram that many of Chris's fans messaged him to post and promote about the situation in Palestine where Chris refused due to unknown reasons. Because of this, and disrespecting Islam and Pakistan, Zoya Nasir officially called off their engagement.[9][10][11]
