Łany Wielkie [ˈwanɨ ˈvjɛlkʲɛ] (German: Lona-Lany, 1936-45: Wieshuben)[1] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Sośnicowice, within Gliwice County, Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland.[2] It lies approximately 10 km (6 mi) west of Gliwice and 34 km (21 mi) west of the regional capital Katowice.
The village has a population of 748.
