Smolnica [smɔlˈnit͡sa] (German: Smolnitz, 1936-45: Eichenkamp)[1] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Sośnicowice, within Gliwice County, Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland.[2] It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) south of Sośnicowice, 10 km (6 mi) south-west of Gliwice, and 33 km (21 mi) west of the regional capital Katowice.

The village has a population of 1,089.
