Šilainiai (formerly Russian: Шиланы, Polish: Szyłajnie)[1] is a village in Kėdainiai district municipality, in Kaunas County, in central Lithuania. According to the 2011 census, the village had a population of 25 people.[2] It is located 3.5 kilometres (2.2 mi) from Nociūnai, among the A8 highway, the Želksnys, the Raistas, the Bubliai and the Bubleliai forests, the Piltyna and the Gegužinė rivulets. There is a cemetery and a former quarry. The Šilainiai railway station is in village.
