The 1990 Fresno State Bulldogs football team represented California State University, Fresno[note 1] during the 1990 NCAA Division I-A football season as a member of the Big West Conference. The team was led by head coach Jim Sweeney, in his thirteenth year, and played home games at Bulldog Stadium in Fresno, California. They finished the 1990 season with a record of eight wins, two losses and one tie (8–2–1, 5–1–1 Big West).
