The 1997 Troy State Trojans football team represented Troy State University in the 1997 NCAA Division I-AA football season. The Trojans played their home games at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Troy, Alabama and competed in the Southland Conference.[1] Troy State finished the season unranked after starting out the season as the #2-ranked team in the nation during the first part of the season.
