  • April 3: Graphic novel Britten and Brülightly by Hannah Berry is published by Random House under their Jonathan Cape imprint
  • April 7: Jessica Hagy's webcomic Indexed is voted best blog of the year by Time.com.[3]
  • April 20: At the New York Comic Con, Marvel announces Marvel Apes, which will start in October.[4]
  • April 23: Countdown to Final Crisis concludes.
