The 2021 Birmingham Classic (also known as the Viking Classic Birmingham for sponsorship reasons) was a women's tennis tournament being played on outdoor grass courts. It was the 39th edition of the event, and a WTA 250 tournament on the 2021 WTA Tour. It took place at the Edgbaston Priory Club in Birmingham, United Kingdom, on 14–20 June 2021.[1]
Ashleigh Barty was the defending champion from when the event was last held in 2019, but she chose to play in Berlin instead; however, she had to withdraw from Berlin before the beginning of the tournament due to injury.
Ons Jabeur won her first WTA Tour singles title, defeating Daria Kasatkina in the final, 7–5, 6–4. Jabeur became the first Tunisian and Arab woman to win a singles title on the WTA Tour.
