Tournament was scheduled to be held in Zadar, Croatia from 30 June to 4 July 2021.[1][2] On 16 April 2021, FIVB announced that the tournament was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on international travel.[3]
The winner would earn the right to participate in the 2022 Nations League replacing the last placed challenger team after the 2021 edition.
