The 2021 Houston Dynamo FC season is the club 's 16th season of existence since joining Major League Soccer in the 2006 season.[1] The Dynamo missed the playoffs in 2020 for the 6th time in 7 years.
2021 is the Dynamo's second year with head coach Tab Ramos and the seventh season under General Manager Matt Jordan . On the front office end, it is Gabriel Brener's sixth season as majority owner and John Walker's third season as President of Business Operations.[2]
