The 2022 Boston Marathon is an upcoming marathon race scheduled to be held in Boston, Massachusetts, on April 18, 2022.[1] It is expected to be the 126th running of the race.[2] All participants are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.[1] The field is limited to 30,000 runners.[1]
Kenenisa Bekele, Lawrence Cherono and Benson Kipruto are among the elite runners expected to compete.[3][4]
