The 2022 Liberty Flames football team will represent Liberty University in the 2022 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Flames will play their home games at Williams Stadium in Lynchburg, Virginia, and compete as an as an FBS independent. They will be lead by fourth-year head coach Hugh Freeze.

The 2022 season will be the program's last season as an independent as the Flames will join the Conference USA in 2023.[1][2][3]
