The 2022 Army Black Knights football team will represent the United States Military Academy in the 2022 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Black Knights will be led by ninth-year head coach Jeff Monken and play their home games at Michie Stadium in West Point, New York. They will compete as an independent. The Black Knights have a tie-in to the for the 2022 season.

Previous season[]

The Black Knights finished the 2021 season with a record of 9–4, sharing the Commander-in-Chief's Trophy with Navy and Air Force after all three service academies finished with 1–1 records against each other. They were invited to the Armed Forces Bowl where they defeated Missouri, 24–22.

Coaching changes[]

Following the completion of the 2021 season, Troy announced that Army Black Knights' co-defensive coordinator and safeties coach Shiel Wood would take over as the defensive coordinator for the Trojans.[1] Two days later, Army offensive line coach Saga Tuitele was announced as the new offensive line coach for Fresno State.[2]
