Qualified teams[]
On 2 September 2020, CONCACAF announced that 2022 FIFA World Cup hosts Qatar would participate in the 2021 and 2023 tournaments[2] despite the 2023 AFC Asian Cup overlapping with the Gold Cup.[3] The remaining teams will qualify through the 2022–23 CONCACAF Nations League or the 2023 Gold Cup qualifying tournament.
