The 45th International Emmy Awards took place in November 20, 2017 at the Hilton Hotel in New York City. The ceremony was hosted by Iranian-American comedian and actor Maz Jobrani.[2]

Aasif Mandvi, Melissa Villaseñor, Larry King, Italia Ricci, Tom Cullen, Kevin McKidd, Margot Bingham, Carmen Aub, Rodrigo Santoro, Helene Yorke, Freddy Rodriguez, Marina Ruy Barbosa, Renato Góes, Les Twins and Sebastian Koch served as award presenters.[3]

The Directorate Award and 11 Emmy statues were presented by the International Academy during the evening.[4]
