The 4th National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party was held from January 11 - 22, 1925, in the concession of Shanghai. It had been preceded by the 3rd National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party. It was succeeded by the 5th National Congress. It elected the 4th Central Executive Committee of the Chinese Communist Party. Knowledge of Communism in China was still growing. There had been, before this point, some cooperation with the leading Kuomintang political party.[1]
